Jay Peak Homes

Jay Vermont is home to Jay Peak Resort.  Up until recently this has been a normal country town in the summer with a ski community in the winter.  It’s skiing is commonly referred to as the best of the East and this is likely due in part to its claim of the most natural snow of the East. 

Jay Peak Resort has a mindset of becoming a year round resort.  A few years ago they built an amazing golf course!  If you like a challenge we strongly recommend it.  Over the past year Jay has constructed a beautiful new Hotel that could remind one of something you would see in Jackson Hole.  Currently they are constructing an indoor ice-skating arena as well as the Club House for the golf Course.  This coming year includes the plan to build a second hotel that will sit beside an Indoor Water Park!  This is not just a ski mountain any more!

Due to the slow economy Jay has not had a lot of speculation from this current expansion, which we feel, make this a great time to consider buying Jay Vermont Property.  When the market gets some legs we think prices are really going to change!  Furthermore, all of the expansion is leading to a lot of new jobs and all of those employees will need a place to live.

The supply of homes range from some early 1900’s homes, 70’s style ranches, country homes, to more modern luxury homes.  Prices generally start in the $120-150K range and run up around the $1M range with an average likely in the $250-300K ballpark.
